Clinton Webb appeals his jury conviction for aggravated robbery. The jury assessed punishment at life imprisonment. In five points of error, Webb contends that the trial court erred in (1) overruling his objection to the prosecutors use of peremptory challenges pursuant to Batson v. Kentucky, 476 U.S. 79, 90 L. Ed. 2d 69, 106 S. Ct. 1712 (1986), (2) denying his request to cross-examine the prosecutor concerning her exercise of peremptory challenges, (3) overruling his hearsay objections, and (4) overruling his objection to States Exhibit 40. On October 23, 1990, this Court sustained Webbs second point of error and abated this appeal to allow Webb the opportunity to question the prosecutor concerning her exercise of peremptory strikes during voir dire. The trial court conducted the hearing on June 14, 1991, and we reinstated Webbs appeal on November 20, 1991.
